A Safe & Healthy Community

Safe neighbourhoods are the foundation of a strong community. People should be able to enjoy their neighbourhoods, parks, trails, and public spaces with confidence. I will support strong, responsive police, fire, and paramedic services and ensure they have the support needed to meet the needs of our growing community. ​

 

Access to quality healthcare is essential to Brantford's future. As our community continues to grow, we must continue working with healthcare partners, the Brant Community Healthcare Foundation, regional partners, and government partners to secure the investments, new hospital, and healthcare services our community needs. ​

 

At the same time, we must continue expanding healthcare capacity and access to care so people can get the services they need close to home, both today and in the future. ​

 

Community safety is strongest when prevention, collaboration, and coordinated efforts work together. By strengthening community partnerships, supporting early intervention and prevention efforts, connecting people to the services they need, and working with provincial and federal governments to improve community safety and well-being, we can build a safer, healthier, and more connected Brantford.
